September 10-13

Tuesday – Go over the makeup of a limited liability corporation. Show why private business owners would want to go corporate. Show students the connection between limited liability corporations and the United States stock market. All books must be covered for points.

Wednesday – Take grades on terms. Begin discussion of what Economics is, how much affect it has on our day to day lives, and give an overview of the United States economy.

Thursday – Stock purchase – all students will purchase $5,000 of stock. They will then track these stocks for the entire semester.

Friday – Hand in stock purchases. Begin lecture talking about standard of living and work through definitions of goods, services, needs, and wants.
