Students in AP Government will be working on their final presentations. A reminder: the AP Government test is scheduled for Tuesday, May 15 in room 202.
This week in US History, students will be working on their presentations covering the United States conflict of their choice. They will start presenting them to the class next week.
Monday we will grade the vocabulary activity for chapter 23 and students will be reminded that the chapter 23 test will be on Tuesday. We will also start Chapter 23 as well as continue working on the final fourth quarter project that is due on May 21st.
This week we will have our class debate on Monday followed by the last of our chapter presentations and quizzes on Tuesday. Wednesday, we will have our final chapter test and the last few days of the week will be used to cover the details of the final project for AP Government.
US History students will be finishing their worksheet and will review for the World War test scheduled for Wednesday of this week. After the test, the modern wars, including the Korean War will be divided up within each class and time will be given to prepare a class presentation on each war.
Monday is the chapter test covering the president and the budget along with congress. The rest of the week in AP Government we will be preparing for the class debate. In addition, we will start the final presentations on the last 2 chapters of the textbook. Reminder that every Wednesday before school we will be having an AP test review and everyone is welcome. Finally, the national AP exam will be given on Tuesday, May 15 from 8:00 am to 12:00.
We will start the second to last class presentation on the remaining chapters on Monday. The test will be given late this week or early next week.
For Geography students there will be a chapter 21 test on Monday. Also assigned for the rest of the week will be reading the individual sections for chapter 22. In addition we will be using class time to start on our 4th quarter projects. The details of the project will be explained in class on Monday.
US History students will be covering the start of World War II. Students will need to take notes on several WWII films as well as complete the Pacific map covering battles, troop movement and other important locations.
This week in geography we will be completing chapter 20, Africa south of the Sahara. This will include reading all sections, completion of the worksheets and quizzes. We will complete the test on chapter 20 by the middle of next week and begin on chapter 21.
